Club Fiat Montreal
Back
in 1999, I decided to take a trip to my natal country after being away
from it for nearly 15 years.
Lots of things had changed in 15 years
but that little car was still as attractive and as feisty as ever and
looking at her on the streets of Italy, it still looked liked a car
ready to get by whatever obstacle came its way.
I decided to purchase one and bring it back to Montreal, Canada with
me. As it entered the country accompanied by 3 other Fiat 500 cars, I
was right in the middle of my wedding plans and at that moment, I got
inspired to do something different. I decided to have 5 Fiat 500 cars
for my wedding party. It was so original and everyone loved it!
On that very same day, instead of focusing on the wedding, I decided
that I would try to get all the Fiat 500 cars in town together and
create a club for all Fiat 500 owners.
That’s when the first Fiat 500 Club of Montreal was born.
Many years later, the club is bigger and now includes all types of
italian vehicles and our objective has
not changed: Unite all the owners of these wonderful little toys, show
them off to the community and donate funds to charity with the help of
our sponsors, members and fans.
